Lifetimes ago, ancient people performed miracles. They moved the earth and heavens to their liking. They created wonders the likes of which had never been seen in this world...
...or so it is said.
All we have are the ruins to remember them by - the fragments of our history.
Now, we look forward.
"In this world..."
Building on the remnants of the past, the future takes hold. A world where creatures of all kinds coexist, fighting each other but never gaining dominance. Protecting what is theirs. Living and dying, and leaving behind the next generation.
It's into this world that you were born.
And it's into this world - into this new frontier - that you're about to take the next step.
Why did you volunteer to go out into the wilderness? To seek your fortune? To prove your worth? To start over? To unearth the ancient past?
No matter what your reasons are, you can't do it by yourself. The others who work alongside you have just as much to lose - or gain - as you.
